Biography

Henrik Mossberg (b. 1971) is a Swedish pianist/composer/arranger and church musician. Besides a fulltime position as Music Director for the Church of Sweden, he is active as a freelance musician in different contexts. Henrik has appered on albums, on television, radio and at different music festivals, both in Sweden and abroad.

Henrik has performed with artists such as Svante Thuresson, Adolphson & Falk, Sonja Aldén, Louise Hoffsten, Frank Ådahl, Jan Allan, Björn J:son Lindh, Putte Wickman, Roland Utbult, Lena Maria Klingvall a.o.

Henrik has released two solo albums, the jazz album Comments (2005) and Gospelmässa (Gospel mass) (2006). Comments has been played regularly on the air in Europe, Australia and the U.S. a.o. and has received fine reviews from the Swedish press. The gospel mass is a complete service material which is used widely throughout Sweden.

As a composer, he has composed music for solo vocals, choir and big band a.o. Many of his compositions are published and many of them have been commisioned by various artists and publishers.
